Today was Zach's kindergarten Christmas program. His teacher made matching bows for all of the girls hair and each of the boys had a little green bow tie. It was so cute! We almost had a repeat of Zach's preschool graduation, but I was able to bribe him with picking out a treat at the store when we were done. They sang songs about the different ways that Christmas is celebrated around the world. They did a great job! I just love seeing my boys at school. I have many fun memories of my Christmas programs as a kid. It is great seeing them creating memories of their own!

getting bigger...
It seems impossible that my little Max wouldn't look like a newborn anymore...but he doesn't! He is growing so fast! I take him in for his 2 month check up tomorrow. 2 months!!! Time is flying by. Words cannot express how much I love this little guy. He is just so darn fun! He is so calm and good natured. I can't help but just sit and stare at him sometimes. Before I blink he will be crawling. He is such a joy!

my husband is famous...
For those of you who receive the Ensign magazine you might notice someone you know in this months issue....Travis! There is a story behind this picture. 2 years ago Travis called me and said, "They are having a photo shoot here in Salt Lake and they need some families to take pictures of. If we do it we will get a free family picture taken." Okay I thought I'm all about free! They took pictures of our whole family looking at geneology, talking with a "fake" family history consultant, etc...Then they talked me into taking some by myself. They didn't need to talk Travis into it because all who know Travis know that he is a ham! Well...little did I know that the pictures they were taking were to go into a data base that the department has. So now when anyone typing up an article or creating training needs a picture of a family, man with computer, women with computer etc... our pictures pop up. Pictures of me have been spotted on the church website. Ugg! Anyhoo, so when this article was being written for the Ensign they needed a picture of a man with a computer...what pops up...oh that would be Travis! So...my husband is now famous!

thankful...
Everyday I am thankful for:
- my testimony & the gospel
- a warm, safe, cozy house
- a secure job for Travis
- my 4 adorable, healthy kids
- my wise and kind father and my sweet and loving mother that live so close by
- my soft bed
- my ceiling fan
- yummy food
Today I am thankful for:
- a husband who understands why sometimes it is absolutely nessessary to go out to eat for dinner to keep his wife sane
- great health insurance that allows me to take my kids to the doctor with out worrying about how much the visit will cost
- the sweet kiss and hug that Zach gave to me for no reason and with out me asking for it
- the cute grunting noises that Max makes when he sleeps
- the way that Bailey asks for tissues in case she "bless yous" (sneezes and needs to wipe her nose)
- Noah's excitement over getting out the Christmas decorations
- being able to listen to Noah read. He is such a great reader!
- the knowledge that my sister Rachel and her family are coming home for Christmas!!!
- my obsession with Gilmore Girls

exercise...we all gotta do it...right...?
I wash my mouth out with chocolate
The advantage of exercising everyday
is so when you die, they'll say,
"Well, she looks good doesn't she."
I have to walk early in the morning
before my brain figures out what I'm doing.
