We are ready for tonight!  

Another season of college football us upon us.  It is so fun to see even the kids get excited.  Each one (except for Owen) gets a turn of going to a game with Daddy.  This will be Max's first year...to say he is happy is an understatement.  Noah gets to go to the season opener tonight.  I think it is funny that Travis even took tomorrow off from work...in his words: "I can't possibly enjoy the game if I know I have to get up and go to work early tomorrow morning!"  

back to school...

The kids started school this Tuesday.  They were really pretty nervous.  Because we will be moving into our new home in a few weeks we started them at their new school.  This made even the most seasoned Noah feel anxious about the first day.  But happily they all came home with fun stories to share.  Each day has gotten a little better and they are slowly settling in.  I love the change in routine that back to school brings.  I feel a renewed desire to be more organized and create structure that will help our family function better.  Too bad it will all be thrown up in the air in a month when we move!

I can't believe that my baby is 2!!

I KNEW that he was supposed to be a part of our family for years!  So when Travis placed our sweet Owen into my arms I felt like the last remaining piece to our family puzzle had arrived!

Owen is so full of spunk and joy!  He pretty much skips or runs where ever he is going. He is super fast and is a handful to keep up with, but he has each of his siblings wrapped around his sweet finger. They just adore him!  He has a smile and giggle that will melt your heart and a "tight hug" that can easily squish away a bad day.  I just love him!
