owen's blessing...
On Sunday we blessed Owen. What a sweet little guy he is. He was quiet as can be during the blessing...in fact I think he slept through the whole thing. The blessing was touching and sweet. We were so lucky to have so much family with us. What a great day!

Max LOVES the movie Finding Nemo! This morning as I was sitting in my room I hear Max chanting along with the tank scene where Nemo becomes Shark Bait. It was the cutest thing...

bailey's 1st day...
Bailey started kindergarten today! {sigh} A million thoughts have swirled through my mind this morning..."will she be okay on the bus?...will her brothers take care of her?...is she nervous?...will she find her teacher's line okay?" This morning as I was making breakfast Bailey told me, "Mom, just a little bit because my tummy is kinda hurting!" I knew that this was just first day of school jitters, but I could tell as the time to go was getting closer that her nerves and her excitement were about equal! I followed the bus to school and made sure she made it onto the kindergarten playground okay. She quickly put down her backpack and started playing. The only frantic part was when the bell rang. She watched as all the kids left the slide and headed for the doors. She got a panicked look on her face when she realized that she didn't know where to go. I called out to her and then we needed to look for her backpack. She had placed it next to a neighbor friends pack, but this little girl isn't in her class, so it was in the wrong spot. Then I helped her find her line. I think when she gets home today we might need to run through EXACTLY what is supposed to happen so that tomorrow goes a little smoother! So far so good! I can't believe I have 3 in school!
PS...Check out the super cute Lunch Box Treats I made for the kids...I posted it HERE on Poppies!
