time to get a move on...

Well...we sold our house! Yep! In less than 24 hours we listed our home on the MLS showed it 3 times and received 2 full asking price offers! We had no idea that it would sell that fast! In the short weeks since then we are inching forward to our closing date. We were able to find a rental house in our same neighborhood that was willing to do a 6 month lease, we have found a lot to build on, we are meeting with an architect in a few days, and I get to have my "browse" appointment at the home fitting center. To say that we are excited is an understatement! We have been working towards moving for about 2 years now. All of the saving, praying, and waiting has been worth it. Through it all we have felt the Lord's help. We know that it is only because He provided a way that it is even possible!

new kit...

Have you ever heard of Project 365? I have heard people talking about it, but essentially it is where you take a picture every day and then create a family scrap book of the every day stuff. So Leslie at GG Digital Designs hopped on the bandwagon and decided to create a kit to make the scrapping part easier. Quick templates that you can snap pictures into. The paper squares are already down to size. Cute tags and arrows for your journaling and everything! Now...I don't
take a picture everyday...I don't really want to ...but when I saw this kit I immediately thought of our family trip to Georgia last June. I took a boat load of pictures...seriously something ridiculous like over 600 pictures and then I got pictures from my sister-in-law too. I have been putting off scrapping the vacation because of the huge volume of pictures to weed through. This kit is
PERFECT for vacation pictures!! I whipped out like 4 pages in an hour. I LOVE IT! Quick, easy, fun, and there is still plenty of room for all of my many pictures!

Pick it up in the bundled version or individually

or she even created the same kit in softer colors:

1940 U.S. Census - Are You In It?

Travis is always involved in different projects...so when they needed actors for a video spot he was willing to smile for the camera! This is such a neat project. It is just like the family search indexing that the church has been doing for a while only just with the 1940 census. The church is working in collaboration with a few other companies to make the scanned digital census pages available to be searched. This means it needs to be read and all the data recorded. You sign up and they send you a batch of records to read and then type what you think it says. The really neat thing is the addition of new questions to this census. Many of the people in this census are alive today. What a neat way to make these records available forever. My grandparents are in it!
