super cute idea...

So last week as I was thumbing through my latest issue of my favorite magazine, Creating Keepsakes, I saw this adorable idea for the 4th! They used an American flag as a photo booth back drop and took pictures of everyone they celebrated with. Cute huh?!! I figure if I post it here I will have more motivation to actually do it!

Travis and I also had the opportunity to go with the youth of our ward to Martin's Cove on Trek this past weekend! I promise as soon as I get pictures from our official picture taker I will post some! It was awesome to see over 1 year of planning and hard work come together!

8 month old max...

I can't believe that Max is already 8 months old tomorrow! Has it really been 8 months? It sure doesn't feel like it! Max is such a great baby! Relaxed Max is what we call him...that or pookers...don't ask me why, we just do! The only time he cries is when he is tired or hungry. He loves to watch his brothers and sister and has learned a new trick...waving! It is so cute to come into a room and say, "Hi Max!" and he will respond by waving! Oh how I love my little man! I love to kiss his sweet cheeks and cuddle with him while he drinks his bottle. He truly is a joy! I tried to capture his waving on video and also captured his other new fun trick...bouncing in his saucer. He loves to bounce and bounce and bounce and giggles the whole time!

hawaii...

georgia cousins...

Travis' brother Shane and his family came for a visit. It is so fun to spend time with their cute family. We made our traditional visit to Wingers for dinner, walked around Cabelas and enjoyed being together!

camping as a family of 6...

The night of the last day of school we packed up the van and headed to the west desert with some neighborhood friends. It was so fun! We are definitely making it a tradition!

Bailey and Ali were never apart!

Bailey called them "smares" instead of smores!

more to come...

I need to post some pictures of soooo many things, but I feel like I have been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off the last week. Last week we had fun at the zoo for memorial day, it was the end of the school year, Zach's kindergarten graduation, our first camping trip as a family of 6, Travis' brother and his family are in town, and I am frantically trying to get my house ready and me and Max packed for Hawaii. Oh ya...and throw the final prep for our youth going on the Trek that Trav and I are a part of. So...these words are all you are getting!! I promise to post pictures of everything when I get back. Life can be so crazy, but I love all the fun that we are having and the memories that we are creating!

PS...wish Travis luck...he is staying home with the 3 kids while I go to Hawaii for 8 days!
