Well...the first day has come...I am SO glad that I am feeling more like myself so that I could enjoy this day with the boys! They were so excited to start school. Noah even set his clothes out last night on the floor including his shoes and socks...it looked like a little person. ( I should have taken a picture) Noah is starting 3rd grade and Zach is starting 2nd grade! Man has the time flown by. I have such vivid memories of my 2nd and 3rd grade years that it seems strange to me that I have kids who are going to be making these kinds of memories too!I usually let the boys ride the bus and then I follow the bus to the school. The kids are supposed to go to the big playground until the bell rings and then line up for their teachers to bring them into the school. The only problem with this method is that on the first day of school almost no one knows where their line is. This is why I go so that I can help them find their lines. Noah "already knows Mom!" where his line is so I see just a glimps of him before he heads to his line and I help Zach find his line. Can you tell from the picture below that he is just a tad excited!?!
I hope that they each have a fabulous day. I can't wait for them to come home so we can talk about their day and eat our traditional ice cream cone too!

I'm sure they will be having a great 1st day. I too remember my 2nd and 3rd grade years....I even remember my kindergarten class. It is weird to be going through it now as a parent. Good Luck!
Your boys are getting so big!! How cute and crazy that summer is already coming to an end huh?? Hope you are feeling good!!
That's fun that you have an ice cream cone tradition. They do look super exited. Those smiles are pretty darn cute. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better!
