I just heard this beautiful song and it made me cry. It is called It Won't Be Like This for Long by Darius Rucker. So touching! Take a listen HERE. (just press play when it brings up the player) It is such a sweet reminder that these precious years that Travis and I have with our young children won't last forever. The innocent, tender moments of childhood/mommy hood will change...never to be the same. So today I am going to enjoy the fingerprints, the cuddles, the lights left on, the pencil on the wall, the underwear left in the bathroom, and the Legos all over the floor. I love being a Mom! I love my children. I love being able to raise them with my amazing husband. I love that we have such great extended families that support and love us. Most importantly I love that we are a family FOREVER!

I agree Heather. I enjoy mine too. You are a good Mommy. Love the little things they do, that remind you that they're yours. You have a precious family. We are so excited to come visit you all soon!
I didn't know you were a country girl like me! Or did you just see it on Oprah yesterday? =-)
I love that song too. Sometimes I celebrate that it won't be like "this" for long when I am sweeping 20 times a day but I truly will miss the little voices and random bursts of love they give!
Plus who doesn't like hearing from Hootie and the Blowfish again?
You are so great! I know what you mean, although somedays I reassure myself that it won't be like this forever:) Other days it makes me cry my eyes out thinking of things ever changing! Right now I'm just crazy excited to see my kids!!! A week seems like FOREVER to be away from them and it's killing me!!
That is so true. Thanks for the reminder to enjoy the daily "grind".
