A few days ago I vacuumed my bedroom floor...I swear I did!
Max rarely cries for no reason. If he is tired or hungry he will sure let you know, but other than that there is usually a reason. So on Wednesday morning when Max started crying I was surprised. He had just woken up from a nap...it wasn't time for a bottle yet...what was wrong! He had a strange sort of frightened look on his face! Even when I picked him up he continued to cry. After about 5 minutes or so he was STILL crying! What was wrong! Then I noticed that he was doing a weird thing with his top lip. He kinda tucked it in a little. So I plopped him on my bed and looked into his mouth. I thought, "Maybe that tooth is finally coming in!" Instead I found a thorn! Not just any thorn, but a horrible, ugly, thorny thorn! One of the prongs was stuck to the roof of his mouth and the other one was poking his poor little tongue! Last weekend the boys had a fathers and sons camp out and came back with these thorns in their shoes. All I can figure is that some how a thorn made it's way upstairs and into my baby's mouth! Poor guy! Sometimes you just wish they could say owie to let you know there is a problem!

Oooh, that looks worse than I was imagining! Poor Max!
How random, those carpet crawlers pick up the weirdest things. Sienna has had some crazy stuff in her mouth during her short life.....
Ouch! Those thorns are horrible. Aaron and Josh brought home tons of them in their shoes after the father and son's camp out.
My poor MAX!!! I can just picture it! OUCH!
