Okay...so heres the deal...I resist doing things just because "other people" say its the newest "thing." When the Harry Potter books came out I didn't read them...out of principle people...I'm not a sheep...I don't just follow! At least not until I'm good and ready...I picked up book 1 right before book 5 was about to be released and was HOOKED! Yes...I now own all 7! ; ) So when all the hubbub over the Twilight series was swirling my reaction was the same...booo! I don't read a book just because it is "cool!" So last winter my sister who is totally addicted to them kept insisting that I try them. At the time I was addicted to watching the Gilmore Girls and she owns all the seasons. So she kinda blackmailed me by saying that if I would read the first book she would loan me the last season! So...I caved! But then...I was sucked into the books too! I wouldn't say that I was addicted by any stretch of the imagination, but they were pretty good. Definitely written for teenagers, but I soon had all 3 read! I didn't rush out and see the first movie. My youngest sister and I went and saw it months after it was released. I think I may have actually laughed through a lot of it! The filming was pretty lame, but the books are definitely better. Then this spring my neighbor (who is totally addicted) was selling tickets to the new movie...(yes folks...she and her sisters rented out a theater on opening night!) and I snagged my great seat the first day along with a good friend! You might have noticed that there is now a count down ticker on my blog...well... I saw the trailer for the new movie and I am SO excited to see it! Wahoooo! I am so glad I have a ticket already!

HAHAHA Heather I'm in SHOCK! Am I the only 1 left who doesn't LOVE them?? Seriously.... I've only read the first 3... still haven't read Breakind Dawn... and I will, when I feel that I have the time. I did see Twilight... on redbox... HAHA... but I have to admit, New Moon looks way better than Twilight did... plus, I just think Jacob is dang freakin HOT! Mmmmm Mmmmm.... since he's in most of this movie... I'll see it, but maybe at the $1 theater... definitely not paying full price. :) HAHAHA Now Harry Potter... fan from the beginning... and way better than Twilight!
You should get hooked on Hunger Games now. It's a trilogy and the second book was just released. You would love it! My friend is going to New Moon at the same theater as you. You must know the same girl who rented it out. Funny!
Funny story! I am more excited about New Moon than I was about Twilight. But I think I am a little addicted!
I loved the books but can't say I'm a fan of the movie. hopefully New Moon will be better. I can only stand so much of "Bella's" monotone voice and reactions...

that is such a GREAT idea to rent out a theater!!! i don't know if i would get as good of a turn out here in GA than i would in UT, but that would be fun!!! i am sooooo excited! have fun.
