So when I met Travis I was a dancer. I have seen many many styles of dance. But none quite like Travis' Georgia style. Including the Bankhead bounce. At first I must admit that his bounce and his Michael Jackson routine took some getting used to. (Usually me slowly sneaking into the background) If you know Travis chances are you have seen him do it! When we were first married he would do the bounce so fast you could barely see his shoulders moving. I must say that his bounce as gotten a tad bit slower as the years have passed, but he still can bounce with the best of them. Here is the how to video that he found on YouTube. Travis does it with his arms up like the video, but he doesn't move them from side to side. He just holds them still and lets his shoulders go crazy. Now watch this and picture Travis doing it 4Xs as fast. Makes you wanna chuckle!

Having had Travis in our Bishopric in the ol' 11th Ward, I can't imagine him doing this!! I guess I don't know him that well! I hope he wears that same pimpin' robe when he does his dance! (And Noah's previous comment about Travis being weird isn't sounding so 'out there'!) :) I love it!
I will have to practice at the computer as I am blogging. It may be the only exercise I get. ;)
I am an official eye witness to travis and his bankhead bounce! He is incredibly fast it almost looks like a seizure! But the ol'man has slowed down a bit! Come on grandpa speed it back up! :)
My question is this, does he wear the cool glasses and wicked awesome open robe when he does it...that definitely adds to it. Ha Ha!
I'm a tad bit disappointed that you don't have a video of Travis too. You guys are so much fun.
