Tonight I went to a pampered chef party and when I got home Travis was already asleep. So I went downstairs to watch the SYTYCD results show by myself. Now I am sitting here on the floor of my bedroom its 11:30pm and I am checking my email. Some may know that Travis walks, talks, and stares in his sleep (yes I said Stares!) Right now he keeps sitting up, props himself up on one elbow, looks at me weirdly, mumbles something and then lies down again! Now I have learned after almost 8 years of marriage that laughing is out of the question. It usually makes it worse. Travis isn't the type to get mad very often, but if I laugh at him when he is sleep talking or staring he usually gets mad/frustrated. That is until he starts to wake up and then he wonders why he is looking at me and feeling mad! A few nights ago Travis woke up around 2 or 3 am and walks straight to the window and opens it. I wake up slightly and notice what he is doing. Then he stands next to the bed looks at me and says, "Its all your fault!" crawls back into bed and starts snoring! He of course doesn't remember that at all the next morning. The scariest was when Noah was just a baby. I usually sleep really lightly so I noticed that Travis got out of bed. I thought he was just going to the bathroom. After a few minutes he still wasn't back, so I walk into the hallway. He was sitting in the rocking chair in Noah's room rocking him. I look at him and say, "What are you doing?" He says, "The baby was crying." "No he wasn't!" I say. So I take Noah from him and put him back into his crib. Travis gets up and goes right back to bed. He doesn't remember that episode at all! The craziest is when I somehow wake up in the middle of the night and he is leaning over me staring. So I just sit here chuckling to myself quietly because he just did it again for the 9th time!! I tell ya my life is never dull even in the wee hours of the morning!

There goes crazy Travis again! I am glad you can laugh at it, I think it would weird me out too much. Kinda scary to wake up to someone staring at you! It's funny about the window though, that's hilarious!
I forgot about that. Ask Travis about the large stain on the carpet in his room at the old house on Lee road.
Holy Moly...I am going to have to start monitoring this blog!
Ha ha...I was wondering if Travis knew you were posting this...I'm a little afraid to admit that I do crazy things like that in my sleep. But I'd much rather be the one doing them than the one watching me do them! Waking up with someone staring right over you gives me the shivers.
James and I are sitting here laughing! But remember you are not alone in this. James is the funniest sleep talker! And now he's starting to get up and walk around too.
LOL! Heather, that reminds me of when Byron used to do weird things in his sleep. Do you remember me ever telling you about the time in Logan, that I woke up because Byron pulled my pillow out from under my head, and when I looked up he was standing above me holding the pillow up. My eyes got real big, and I remember thinking "what are you going to do with that?!" He then slammed it down on his side of the bed and laid down on it. I asked him why he stole my pillow and he told me that he didn't and he just needed to get a chair for his dad. I (playing along) asked him where he and his dad were, and he responded that "duh, we're at our work meeting, and he needs a chair - now be quiet!" (Byron and I used to both deliver for Pizza Hut.) So I said to him, Byron, your dad doesn't work with us, and we're not at a work meeting right now, so can I have my pillow back please? He kinda grumbled something and I took my pillow back, and it was quiet again. I laid there trying to go back to sleep, but started laughing at the whole ordeal, only to have Byron 1/2 wake up and sharply say "What are you laughing at? You're keeping me up!" I'm keeping YOU up? Oh that really got me laughing! Still - kinda creepy though! He didn't remember any of it the next morning - or so he says...
What a funny memory. I'm going to go post this on my blog now too!
