Wow! Can it really be possible that I went almost a week with out a new post? Unbelievable I know! It's not like we haven't been doing fun things or keeping ourselves busy. I am just in a funk I think! Do you ever have times like that where you just feel like the most blah person ever! I would usually describe myself as pretty blah most of the time. I am pretty plain jane almost boring most of the time. A creature of habit to be sure. Here are a few examples:
- I always order a #1 with cheese ketchup and mustard only from Wendys. I never try anything else!
- I like to crochet and embroider! Not the most fascinating hobbies!
- I don't really like surprises much. I like to plan out everything!
- I'm not really into clothes, makeup, or accessories. I have worn the same pair of earrings now for 8 years!
- I could sit and watch someone mow their lawn for hours. I don't know why I just love it!
- I have the same routine for getting ready for bed. I rarely change it up or do it out of order!
- I could eat the same thing for breakfast everyday without ever getting sick of it.
- I love ballet, opera, symphonies, Jane Austin movies, musicals and anything else sappy or predictable.
- It takes me a long time to make friends. I am actually pretty shy and have a hard time connecting with people.
- I like things simple. Really really simple. If it starts to get too complicated I start to freak out!
Well...I'm not sure exactly why I wrote this post, but these are the wandering thoughts in my mind this Sunday night. I kinda like my boring plain jane life!

I could watch Pride and Prejudice or Sense and Sensibility every night for the rest of my life and still not be tired of them!! And for the record, I hear you about the friends. I think you connect with people more than you think though. You may not feel it, but they do! You can come connect over here anytime!

So many things on your list are me also! When I worked at Sears in Provo and frequented the Wendy's outside the mall, the workers knew me so well that they wouldn't have to wait for me to order. It was always a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger- lettuce and ketchup only, with a regular Dr. Pepper. There is something comforting about having something stay the same, even if it seems boring. And I think you are a really cool girl who I've always wanted to get to know better- but I have this small problem- I'm shy and have a hard time making friends. Sound familiar?
You are anything, but boring! I laughed the whole time I read this picturing you doing a little dance or telling one of your many animated stories...silly girl.
Blah and boring are only words that you can use to describe yourself if it opposite day. You may have routines, but you are still very unique and extremely creative. You are the anti-blah.

I think you're exciting and upbeat and so much fun, and not at all blah. And I love animated stories...which is why I tell them all the time too - and then I wonder if other's were put off by them - but you know what? - that's their problem. Animated is fun.
I dont think you are blah at all! I too have just one pair of earrings I always wear. :) I find making friends really hard, too maybe its a Heather thing?
Okay Heather, I totally agree with you, you are pretty boring.
jk, I just wanted to go against the crowd there for a minute, but I really don't believe there is much blah about you. You are someone who has a strong sense of self, what she likes and dislikes, and you are not afraid to stand up for what you think. If that is boring, then there should be more boring people out there.

You are so funny! I think it's crazy sometimes how we view ourselves, because I would totally NOT view you as boring! You're always the life of the party at mother's lunch! :) And I think we should have a Pride & Prejudice party sometime, I'm with Lisa, could watch those movies every day!! I've already watched two this week!!!
