Our adventure for this week was going to Kennecott Copper Mine. We always see it on our way to the Splash Pad in Herriman and I have tried to describe it to the kids, but nothing is quite like seeing it in person. It was fun to watch the kids oohhhh and ahhh at how deep it is!

I love that place and I haven't been there since Savannah was a baby! Now I'll have to take all the kids there...sometime
looks like so much fun! Wish I was there! I can just picture dad explaining all sorts of fun facts to the kids. Makes me wish for the days when we went all over Utah as a family.

We went last summer, the kids loved it. There's a small town and park right by the mine, founded by Kennecot for the miners. The park is Copperton Park, it's awesome. Your kids would love it!
