c-section?...

I had my last doctors appointment today. Wooohooo!! The only bummer is that I might have to have a c-section. The baby is in a transverse position. That means that he is laying sideways instead of head down. My babies don't usually descend into the pelvis until I am actually in labor. So he could change positions between now and Monday. The plan is that I will go in on Monday for an induction/c-section. They will check the position of the baby. If he is head down they will go ahead with a regular induction. If he isn't head down they will prep me for a c-section and try and turn the baby from the outside. If turning is sucessful then they will go ahead with the induction...if not...they will do a c-section. We were in a similar situation with the delivary of Bailey. They turned her and I was able to have a normal delivery. So I am just hoping that they will be able to sucessfully turn this little guy too! Not that the "turning" process is all that painless, but I would rather that then a c-section. I am just thrilled that Monday is the day!!!

my first baby was breech with bottom down ... they gave her a week to turn and she didn't. Her little hips were stuck snugly in my hips. So I had a c-section. I hope Max turns so you can continue with your induction. Good luck!

I hope Max will be cooperative for you! How exciting that either way, you get to meet him in less than a week!

Please let me know once you're ready for a meal...or two...anytime. I'd love to help if I can!
