conference...

I always love conference weekend...at least the talks I do get to hear. That is why I always look forward to the November issue of the Ensign. I can read all of the talks that I missed because of my talkative kids!

So as Travis and I were talking last night about what we did hear we started talking about the announcement of the 5 new temples that will be built. One was announced to be built in the "greater Kansas City area." Huh? So here is where my thoughts went: "Kansas is in Missouri right? Hey Travis how close is Kansas City to Independence? It is just miles away from Kansas City right? So...would Independence Missouri be considered in the "greater Kansas City area?" Yep, you could probably think that right?" It's an interesting thought. Could you imagine if they had stood at the pulpit and announced a temple to be built in Independence? I think the "greater Kansas City area" sounds a little less alarming don't you?

Now I'm not going to jump in with both feet and think that this is what that announcement meant, but it certainly is an interesting thought. It will be intriguing to find out when they release the exactly location of that new temple.

I didn't even think about that.. but that is so interesting it gives me chills!!! It'll be fun to keep up on it and see when they do the groundbreaking!!!! I'm so excited for the Draper temple to be done!

Thanks for the tip! My mom has been showing me how to use a cotton ball in warm water and it loosens them up good. My Grandma used to tell my mom to squirt warm milk up the nose... HAHAHHA... I'm not about to try that. So far the cotton ball works great! And sometimes it gets them out without having to use the sucker... she HATES the sucker!
