First off...here is a new picture of Max. Isn't he cute? He still has his nights and days mixed up so the first night home was a little rough, but last night we pulled out the trusty ol' baby swing and it worked like magic. That is until about 3am when the batteries died. Both Travis and I were awake and listened to the last battery powered swing and said, "We are getting new batteries first thing in the morning!"
Yesterday Noah came into my room to show me what he had just created with his Legos. He said: "Hey Mom, look at the cool mind controlling machine I made!" Noah is so creative. He amazes me by the things he is always thinking up.
A little random fun for the boys is to pull out all of their clothes from their drawers and shove them into their shirts and pants. It is always a fun show!
A few other random things: Our pipes are moaning! Yep, moaning. We called our builder about it and of course we are past warranty so they recommended the name of a plumber. We had the guy come out yesterday to fix our problem. He did...or at least said he did. I didn't discover that he really hadn't taken care of the problem until about 10 minutes after he left. Ahhhhh! Every time you turn on water and then turn it off again the pipes make this low moaning sound. It isn't just the facets. Its the dishwasher, the washing machine, the showers, the toilets. Anything with water will set it off. And right now it is moaning about every 30 seconds for no reason at all! Ahhhhhhh!
Also: This morning I was outside with my parents showing them where to plant the tulip bulbs that I ordered, of course forgetting that I would be huge and pregnant when they needed to be planted in the ground, when a neighbor girl came running up to me and said, "my grandma told me to come and tell you to get inside your house. We just saw a man in a black hoodie with a hand gun out by the cannal! The police are coming!" What????? The cannal is right behind our house. I never saw anything, but several police cars and SUVs were soon roaming the roads around the wetlands. I don't know if they ever found the guy. Random...I know!
Oh ya...Travis accidentally recorded over our only wedding video while trying to tape Survivor. I think I might be more convinced into getting a DVR honey!

Here is so cute! Concentrate on just enjoying the baby and not the pipes or crazy guy! :)
So Cute!! I'm sure you are all enjoying him, the dont stay little long and time goes by much faster these days.
Wow, that would freak me out to have a man running around with a gun. Crazy. Max is of course super adorable. It was fun hanging out with your family today..I missed you though!
Creaky pipes and crazed man with a gun?? What's the neighborhood coming to? Max is sure cute though, nice way to take your mind off things.
Where in the world did Noah get that idea? But it looks just like something from a cartoon or something. He is a creative boy that is for sure!
Lucky for T-bone I am the one that provided the footage for their widding video. I am putting it up for bid on ebay so if Travis wants it he will have to outbid the competition. Just kidding. I will be sending him a copy in the near future. I hope it was good episode of Survivor.
eBay...I would actually pay a lot of money for that. Don't even think about it :)
Good luck with your pipes...that is scary! DVR's are great-you should really consider it!
Rob found a way to hot-wire our swing so it plugged into the wall and didn't need batteries, have Travis call him if he wants Rob to show him how to do it, it saved my sanity since Zachary would only sleep in the swing for his first six weeks. I would have freaked out if I had known about the gunman, that is crazy!
